Schnapps and liqueur

In almost every restaurant in Croatia you get a brandy or liqueur on the house after the meal. So that you know what you get there, here is a small overview.

Slivowitz / Sjlivovica / Schliwo

Plum brandy, around 40%, reminiscent of grappa

Kruscovac / Kruschko

Pear liqueur, around 20%, very sweet, orange color

Pelinkovac

Herbal liqueur, around 30%, reminiscent of Ramazotti

Teranino

Red wine liqueur, around 20%, sweet, reminiscent of Marsala
